Jhana Katz was born in the Sypher mountains, in the secret Leopard dojo.  She was raised as a normal outcast accecpted by only her master.  she lived up to 15 than everything started to come down.  Her life was starting to unwind with no end in sight and no light either...

"Jhana, you freak, what are you doing over there?  oh yah, just being a spotless wierdo" one of the girls said to her as she read a spell book, after that girl got bored of verbally abusing her she left, and shortly there after, her master, Karia, came back with some bread and sat next to her.  "don't let them get to you, my dear, there are always shallow people out there, you just gotta keep your soul strong and not worry about it."  she said as she broke the bread and gave the larger half to Jhana.  "yah, but-" "No buts, Jhana, you don't have to worry about sensless things, just keep your lil chin held high and your heart solid gold and you'll be fine."  Jhana half smiled as she bit into the bread.

the next few days, Karia taught Jhana the rest of her staff skills.  and she gave her a broad sword, "now, all warriors know how to use all weapons, you mastered the staff, and the daggers, it's time to know the most common weapon of them all, the sword."  Jhana drew the sword from it's sheeth.  "This blade... it's... it's... it's awesome." Jhana said.  "I know, steel mixed with a bit of pixie dust mixed in.  it won't ever break, not at all, unless it is melted, than, technacly it's not breaking."  

Jhana jumped back as Karia slashed, Jhana slashed downward but Karia was able to block that.  "Jhana, you need to focus, I've left myself open all this time, how can you capitalize on it?  how can you exploit it?" Karia said as Jhana stepped back, after a few seconds Karia slashed forward, however, Jhana was able to grab Karia's wrist and put her blade next to her throat.  "I think it's time we got more advanced. ^^"  

A few hours passed and Jhana and Karia practiced in the garden of the secret castle in the Sypher Mountains.  Karia told Jhana that she was going to her personal quarters to get some cocoa for the two of them.  Jhana nodded and Karia went off into the shadows of the night.  Jhana looked out to the city down below wondering if any of the people were looking back at her.   "well, well, well, if it isn't the outcast," said one of the leopard girls, "what are you doing out all alone, oh, right, no one wants to hang out with a spotless leopard."  Jhana looked at her and said "What about Karia, huh?  What about my master?  She hangs out with me all the time."  the girl replied, "well duh, she has to, it's a part of school rules, otherwise she wouldn't even socialize with you."  

Jhana started to tear up as she looked back out to the city, "just leave, would you... I don't need *sniffle* any of your bull shit."  Jhana said.  The girl smirked and replied "heh, yah, right." and that girl flipped her hair and walked off.  about five or ten minutes later, Karia came back with the cocoa, but dropped them when she saw a tear fall off of Jhana's cheek.  "Oh, Jhana, dear... what's wrong?"  

"Jasmine, just how rude she is..."

"Oh, Jhana, don't let them get to you... keep your chin up, your heart gold, and don't let their words get to you."  

Jhana half smiled.  "I know, I know, but, it's hard to not let people get to you, especially when your such a freak as I am."  her smile dissapeared.  "come on, Jhana, let's go to sleep, we've got a looong day ahead of us..."   And with that, Jhana and Karia went to their rooms.......
